Join us at SouthEast Exchange on Oct 17

The Juneau Stem Coalition is partnering with other community groups to launch the SouthEast Exchange in order to connect STEM professionals (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with pre-K – 12 educators so that we can integrate real life science into our classrooms.

  • Date: Tuesday, October 17, 2017
  • Time: 5-7 PM
  • Where: The JACC (350 Whittier St. Juneau, AK)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

Culture bearers who can convey Alaska Native understandings of the natural world and people who use STEM subjects in their daily work, have a STEM subject in their job title, or have a less formal way of understanding and working with STEM subjects.

This could be…carpenters, scientists, Tlingit elders, electricians, photographers, architects, engineers of all kinds, naturalists, storytellers who bring science to life, people who work outdoors – with boats, fish, trees, animals…The list goes on and on.

See the SouthEast Exchange site for more details.
