5 – 5:30 pm Start with an “everybody gathering” in the Auditorium so Ken Wesson (neuroscientist, teacher, STEM advocate) can address “What is Important about STEM?” via some talk and lots of activity  (The goal is to help parents and adults watch how children approach STEM activities and learn to appreciate and support the interaction. )

5:30 – 6:30 STEM activities in classrooms & commons. Activities from STEM Community Members: weather, engines, fisheries, electricity, snakes, etc!!

6:30 – 7:00 Gather together with Ken Wesson again to summarize and emphasize the power of STEM learning.

*Bonus – every family leaves with a “STEM Bag” (courtesy of FOSS)  to continue STEM learning/explorations at home.
